How it works
Pick your files, drag the order into shape, and merge. Pages are copied into a new document in list order, keeping their original size and orientation — a mixed set of A4 and Letter pages stays mixed rather than being scaled to match.
Bookmarks, form fields and annotations are not carried across. For a plain document this changes nothing you will notice; for a fillable form it does.
Password-protected files
A PDF that is encrypted cannot be merged, and this page marks such a file in the list rather than failing partway through. Remove the password in whatever opened the file for you, then merge the unprotected copy.
Why this one does not upload
Merging is a rearrangement of bytes you already have, so there is no reason for the file to leave your machine — and contracts, invoices, and scanned identity documents are exactly the sort of thing people merge. This page loads the PDF library into your browser and does the work there; nothing is uploaded, and there is no server-side copy to be deleted later.
